Python developer

Developing a collaboration platform for legal documents (i.e a Gitlab/Github for legal professionals) is an exciting but challenging endeavour. However, we’re an ambitious bunch, so the first version has already been launched and is being used by our clients.

With the first real user data, we can take Shareforce to an even higher level. And that’s where you come in. We are looking for a medior/senior Python developer to join our AI team. Someone with a passion or interest in digital platforms, natural language processing and who is also eager to disrupt the legal domain by making it accessible to everyone.

Your qualifications and skills

As an experienced Python developer you should be familiar with the following:

Scripting & backend skills

  • Linux, Unix based system knowledge
  • Cloud provider knowledge (AWS, GC, etc.)
  • A solid Python3 string library experience
  • A solid knowledge of compositional structures of Pythonic environments
    • OOP, procedural, functional programming
    • Flask, FASTAPI, etc. (backend architectures)
    • Async communications,
    • Basic Networking & Security
    • Design patterns (SOLID, etc.) & containerization (Docker)

Nice to have

  • Desire to learn ETL, Visualization, and/or Graph Science
  • Desire to learn NLP-based systems


Our development stack

The basis of our platform consists of an Angular front-end that communicates with our primary PHP API. For our AI system, we use Python, modern data libraries, and ML models along with state-of-the-art Large Language Models. We also use PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Airflow on a modern Kubernetes cluster.

We are taking great steps with Knowledge Graphs, a scalable architecture (including Kafka, CQRS, Event sourcing etc). We like standardization and try to apply it as strictly as possible.

New technologies that help improve our platform are cool, we are curious about what you bring to the table.

We are a Sponsor (in Dutch: Erkend Referent) recognised by the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service, and as such can offer a fast-track procedure for a residence permit in the Netherlands for you and your family.
